Movie Review: Tangled

My fellow bloggers, I am reviewing the G-rated movie Tangled.  Tangled is the story of Rapunzel with a twist
   Tangled has 5 main characters.
Rapunzel is an 18 year old girl and the protagonist of the movie with one dream, to leave her tower and see the world.  She doesn't know she's a princess and has 12 ft long hair.  She is voiced by Mandy Moore.
Flynn Ryder or Eugine Fitzherbert, is a well-known thief that stole the lost princess' tiara.  He helps Rapunzel escape her tower to see the world.  He is voiced by Zachary Levi.
Then there is Gothol, the antagonist of the movie and Rapunzel's "mother".  She had lied to Rapunzel about her birth and about the world being dangerous.  she is voiced by Donna Murphy.
Another character is Maximus, the horse who is trying to capture Flynn for stealing the lost princess' tiara.  He will listen to Rapunzel though.  He is voiced by Frank Welker.
And finally, Pascal.  Rapunzel pet chameleon and friend.  He has lived with Rapunzel ever since she was in the tower.  He is also voiced by Frank Welker.

This movie is technically rated G, but don't quote me on that.

Unusual Careers: Video Game Tester

Yes, my fellow bloggers, we are going to take a look at the unusual job of being a video game tester.  I happened to hear about this occupation from a friend.  Let's see what a video game tester does, other than the obvious

A video game tester sits down with a group of people, males and females, and test video games.  They go through different levels of the game, using different characters to see if there are any glitches, or bugs in the software.  they do this for eights hours a day, five days a week.  Once they finish playing the game, they have to write an accurate report about every fine detail, problems, glitches, and how the problem can be fixed.

You have to have critical evaluation skills, meaning you need to express your opinion on whether if the game will sell or not.   Another ability you have to have is endurance, you can't be a video game tester if your hand cramps after five hours of playing the same game three times.  They also need to have some abilities on computer skills, because that's what video games are made on.
Video game testers testing a car racing game.
A computer expert fixing the glitches on the games.

Now, with every job, there are the pros and cons.  The pros with me being a video game tester is the reports.  I am very good with essays and reports, so this would be no problem.  Another benefit is is the fact that like video games and I am very good with computers.  A con would be the hours, I can't play video games for eight hours straight.  I need breaks in between.  Another drawback would be switching consoles and softwares.  I already have enough problems with switching between Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.

Can I ever see myself as a video game tester?  The answer, yes.  I have a passion for video games.  I mostly like adventure, fantasy, and action.  These are the bases for video games, I fit in just fine.

The Person I Most Admire...

That's right!  That person is Avril Lavigne.  I have admired Avril Lavigne for years, and I still do.
Avril is a Canadian singer that writes the best music ever!!  I first discovered her when her hit single "Don't Tell Me" appeared on television.  after that, I was hooked.

Avril was born in Ontario.   She won a radio contest to perform with Shania Twain, and she told her she wanted to become a singer.  A record dealer found her and gave her a $200 000 contract for a year.

I like her because Avril has the "I don't care what anyone thinks of me" attitude.  She also believes we should be ourselves and don't care what others think of you.  she also likes playing sports like street hockey, yoga, and skateboarding.

I hope to one day make my own songs that tell others that they should be themselves, Avril Lavigne did the same thing!

Of all the places  would like to travel, I want to go to Greece.  Why Greece?  Greece is the home of the Greek history.  I have grown a fascination to their legends of the gods as well.  My favorite Greek Olympian is Athena.  but there is more I like about the Greeks.  Their homes, the way that they're styled.   I hope one day to build my dream home like the ones in Greece.

A view of Athens Acropolis. And a clear view of the Parthenon
A town near the ever so blue ocean
A theatre that was used in ancient times

Here is a video of Greece and its culture.

Greece also has a lot of facts:
- The highest point is Mount Olympus, home of the gods and goddesses
- Their national holiday is March 25th
- In Greek mythology, there are 12 Olympians
- Greece held the 2004 Olympic Games

Here are the many places you can go see:
- Mount Athos
a mountain and peninsula in northern Greece.  The peninsula houses 1400 monks in 20 eastern orthodox monasteries
- Myastras
the capital in the 14th century now has breathtaking ruins
- Lindos
a medieval village on the island of Rhodes with cobblestone streets
- Parthenon
the temple in athens Acropolis. it served as a church, fortress, and temple

And there is always the price, because things are not cheap.  I assumed I would be going for 2 weeks.  It would be $3138.13 for a flight there and back and a 4-star hotel for 14 nights.

My favorite band ever!!  They're Evanescence and they are awesome.  For anyone who likes gothic bands.   You can also check out Within Temptation:)
I love these shoes, aren't they cute?  I love this mostly because they sparkly:)
Know what happens when you mix Harry Potter and Star Wars?
The picture above is hilarious.  I was laughing like crazy!
This picture I photo-edited was very pretty.  This was my favorite edit:)

Irishman's Heart to the Ladies.  They are really good, especially the guy on the mandolin.  I chose this because this song was on my mind, and our orchestra 30 class played this.   They must have practiced this for awhile.  Anyway, they are pretty good and i hope you enjoy it. :)
